Taste of Europe will take part in the Tre Bicchieri World Tour, one of the many international initiatives organised by Gambero Rosso, and the most prestigious series of events dedicated to the excellence of Italian wine. The initiative showcases and promotes the Belpaese’s excellence throughout the world, with the goal of leading companies to more significant markets for the export of Made in Italy products.
The Tre Bicchieri World Tour involves two stages in the United States, taking place on 28 February from 2pm at the Bridgeport Art Center in Chicago, and at the same hour on 2 March at the Metropolitan Pavilion in New York.
A key role will be played over the course of these events by four out of the five Taste of Europe consortiums: the Consorzio Tutela del Lambrusco di Modena (Protection of Lambrusco), the Consorzio Vini di Romagna (Romagna Wine), the Consorzio per la Tutela e la Promozione dei vini DOP Reggiano e Colli di Scandiano e di Canossa (Protection and Promotion of Reggiano and Colli di Scandiano e di Canossa DOP Wine) and the Consorzio Tutela Aceto Balsamico Tradizionale di Modena DOP (Protection of Traditional Balsamic Vinegar of Modena). Alongside wine, the characteristics and details of the Traditional Balsamic Vinegar of Modena will be showcased.
Consortium companies will be hosted in specially-prepared areas in the “Emilia-Romagna Corner”, where they will have the opportunity to present products and offer tasters, targeting a select audience of traders, journalists and enthusiasts, thereby promoting possible business developments. For the Taste of Europe project, Gambero Rosso will also organise detailed seminars with a strong media impact, led by curators from Italian wine guide Guida Vini d’Italia. Everything has been designed to communicate the goodness and quality of Italian enogastronomical excellence to sector professionals and experts, in an informal and attractive setting.
