Two events in Quebec for the Consorzio Lambrusco Modena and the Consorzio Vini Romagna

Taste of Europe

Two events are scheduled for Taste of Europe in Québec City and Sept Iles, with the aim of promoting the Consorzio Lambrusco Modena and the Consorzio Vini Romagna in the north-east area of the province of Québec.

The activities - a dinner with tasting and a technical tasting - are aimed at two distinct targets, respectively consumers and a selected group of operators in the sector; both are open both to wineries already on the market and to wineries not yet present, represented by the private import agency of the Italian Chamber of Commerce in Canada.

The first event will take place on 26 September in Québec City at Chateau Bonne Entente Salle (or Château Frontenac Salle Jacques Cartier), where 175 guests will attend a rich dinner with tasting.

The evening will be animated by writer and journalist Guenael Revel (former testimonial in Québec of Lambruschi and Sangiovese di Romagna wines), who will provide an original narrative of the territory of Emilia and the names of wines from this region. Finally, it will be possible to make walk around tastings and buy the products directly.

The second event, which will take place on 27 September in Sept Iles, in the restaurant Le Fin Renard, is of a different nature. The guests (50 experts in the sector, wine lovers, restaurateurs, journalists and representatives of SAQ - Société des alcools du Québec) will take part in a technical tasting with pairing.

During the evening, participants will taste the wines, find out how to match them in the best possible way and learn more about their denominations, thanks to the guide and animation of Guenael Revel. The event has not only a commercial and promotional purpose, but also a strong educational value, with the awareness that increasing the level of knowledge of the denominations represents a facilitation both in the purchasing phase (therefore for restaurateurs) and in those of accreditation and promotion to the final consumer (therefore for the media).
