Taste of Europe at the Simply Italian Great Wines U.S. Tour 2018

Taste of Europe

Taste of Europe will participate in both stops of the Simply Italian Great Wines U.S. Tour 2018, first on 22 October in New York (at the High Line Hotel, 180 10th Ave) and the 24th of the same month in Las Vegas (at the Luxor Hotel & Casino, 3900 South Las Vegas Boulevard).

Two days dedicated to Italian wine excellence, during which the Consortia will be able to present their products to a select audience of about 500 people, including sector experts and the media. The Consortia’s objective is to promote their excellencies and achieve greater visibility on the U.S. market, which is now one of the main destinations of exported Italian wine.

The Consortia must obviously include the Consortium of Lambrusco di Modena, the Consortium of Romagna Wines and the Consortium for the Protection and Promotion of Reggiano DOP, Colli di Scandiano and Canossa PDO Wines. Products will additionally be offered for tasting from the Consortium for the Protection of Traditional Balsamic Vinegar di Modena PDO and - exclusively during the event in New York - those of the Consortium of Prosciutto di Modena PDO.

The program will be structured similarly on both days, with a part including a commercial workshop and another with an informative workshop, along with many side events such as guided tastings and B2B meetings.

The workshops will be similar to "walk-around tastings”. The numerous cellars that the Consortia represent will have stations equipped for tasting their wines, allowing them to come into direct contact with the sector's operators such as importers, distributors, ho.re.ca. businesses and sommeliers.

The seminars will instead be for market agents and both traditional and digital media. One person will be chosen by each Consortium to present the characteristics and peculiarities of their wines, their denominations and their production territories.

Simply Italian Great Wines is the promotional tool that has been provided by IEM (International Exhibition Management) since 2010, the company which is most active and skilled in the spread of Italian wine abroad, and by IEEM (International Event&Exhibition Management), its U.S. subsidiary. The events are held periodically in different parts of the world and are always distinguished for their high profile thanks to select locations, services and important invitees. Taste of Europe is very privileged to be among the participants of this year's U.S. stop.
