Officially inaugurated at the beginning of April, the second year of the Taste of Europe project is ready to set off with its first activity. Four of the five Consortia participating in the initiative will be present at Summer Fancy Food, an event for the food&beverage sector that will be held at the Javits Center in New York from 30 June to 2 July 2018.
The Consortia will have their own dedicated space within the Italian pavilion, more specifically at stands 2407-2409-2411-2413 on level 3. Over the three days of the event, the Consortia will present their products to visitors, demonstrating all their goodness and quality.
In particular, the Prosciutto di Modena DOP Consortium represented by Salumificio Vitali will present and offer tastings of Prosciutto di Modena PDO. Tastings will also be offered by the Consortium for the Protection of Modena Lambrusco and the Consortium of Reggiani Wines, which will propose Lambrusco wines from the associated vineyards. Lastly, the Consortium of Traditional Balsamic Vinegar of Modena will let guests discover the Traditional Balsamic Vinegar of Modena, illustrating its characteristics and properties.
Organised by the Specialty Food Association and now in its 66th edition, Summer Fancy Food is the main food&beverage sector event in North America. Thousands of exhibitors from every part of the world will present their products; the event is also animated by meetings, seminars, tastings and cooking demonstrations every year. As in the past, this is an unmissable event for experts and operators in the agri-food market. An excellent occasion for those who - like the Consortia of Taste of Europe - want to address and present themselves to customers in a strategic market with large growth margins.
